New! Recreating Warhol

Students gain an understanding of the life and work of Warhol, undertake basic art critique and use persuasive argument techniques to compare 'pop-art' with the works of the 'Masters'.

Students explore the culture of the Dogon tribe in W Africa, ceremonial masks and costumes, thereby developing independent skills for researching and evaluating the outcome of their own creations.

Using Adobe Fireworks

Whilst Firewords can be a little daunting to use initially, Nicola believes that teachers will find it so much easier to use for art and desig work than other applications! 'Give it a try' is the message!
