TeachNet is a project from the Teachers Network organisation in the US, a non-profit organisation with a long history of working with teachers to develop and share classroom resources. A similar project in Ireland [TeachNet Ireland] is also well established. The core funding for this initiative [which saw its first year of operation in the UK in 2004] is kindly provided by the Citigroup Foundation. Each year, the Teachnet UK programme involves some 20 or more teachers from schools across England, developing resources to share. Our teachers have developed a broad spectrum of classroom resources and these are now available for download and adaptation by teachers across the world, either from this site, or from the Teachers Network site in the US.
