C4 Algebra and Functions
By the end of this unit, students should be able to express rational functions in terms of partial fractions.
The functions will include denominators of the type (ax+b)(cx+d)(ex+f) and (ax+b)(cx+d)2. The degree of the numerator may equal or exceed that of the denominator and if this is the case students will need to carry out an algebraic division first.
