Lesson 1

This lesson will last for approximately 1 hour. Introduce topic by showing the PowerPoint Presentation.  What is a Mountain Environment?  Children to complete a mind map and share their responses.  The teacher will next explain the task using Task PowerPoint Presentation.  Children are then put into groups of 2 – 3 and they choose one of the 6 Mountain Ranges using the task sheet.
