Trevor Blunn, Director of IT,
Princethorpe College July 2007
I started teaching in 1981 initially teaching Design and Technology and Art and Design. I first started teaching ICT in 1993 at Avon Valley School in Rugby where I worked as Head of Technology. I moved into full time ICT in 1998 when I took a position as ICT Co-ordinator at Prospect Technology College in Reading. In 2004 I moved back to the Midlands accepting a position as Director of ICT at the independent school Princethorpe College in Warwickshire. Each of these three schools was very different in size and character.
Over the years I have done a lot of work with other schools both in the Secondary and Primary sectors providing teacher training and network support. I have acted as regional coordinator for two national teacher-training schemes for ICT for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and contribute to the SSAT CPD programme for ICT.
