Lesson 1

Lesson 1 should be time to introduce students to the idea of what a business is, using the information given ... and then to complete the tasks, including the Thought task.

Lesson 2

Lesson two should provide time for students to complete the online 'Successful Entrepreneur quiz .. and a quiz to discover whether they have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur! They prepare a written piece of work which reflects what they have found out about themselves.

Lessons 3 and 4

These lessons introduce the concept of aims and objectives.  Students complete task 4a which could lead to a discussion and 4b, during which they visit the websites of some large businesses - for example, Coca Cola, Vodafone - and begin some research. A presentation of their findings which they collate on the computer, can be put together in PowerPoint or on sugar paper which can then be displayed in the classroom. 

Task 5 could be seen as an extension activity.

Lesson 5

Lesson 5 should be enough time for pupils to apply what they have learnt from the previous lessons and present their learning in the form of a business report.
