Sentence Construction Template

There are three files in the template for this exercise; (right click and choose "save target as").

When you set up this exercise it is necessary to edit the text file. When running the exercise it is necessary to view the html file. All three files must be in the same folder for the exercise to work

  1. Download the three files necessary for the exercise.
  2. Open the words.txt file. Replace “Sentence Building” with the title of your activity. Make sure you don’t delete the & at the end of it.
  3. Now replace the list of words by your own list, separated by commas. You can have two words as a single item; just make sure every item is separated by a comma. Don’t delete the & at the end.
  4. Save the text file by clicking on file then save. Do not save the file under another name.
  5. Open the file sentence_construction1.htm to see the finished activity.
  6. Note you can’t change the name of any of the files otherwise it won’t work. For each activity using this template, copy the whole folder, and name the folder something relevant e.g. Past tense word order
