In this project, we will use units to develop the skills that students require to learn and process the Spanish language.

OCR Entry level certificate

This specification has been designed to meet the needs of candidates who would be unlikely to achieve a GCSE grade. It is co-teachable with the OCR GCSE in Modern Foreign Languages and can be awarded at the end of a one or two year course of study. See the OCR website for more information.

Scheme Of Assessment

A booklet of tests covering all ten topics is provided.

A Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing test is provided for each of the ten topics.

Teachers may test discrete skills and topics when their candidates are ready.

Each test is discrete and is designed to be completed within normal lesson time.

Further Work

The students who have taken the Entry Level in year 9 and 10 could be offered the NVQ level course at Level 1 or 2, they will therefore be able to carry out learning languages up unitil year 13.
