Introduction
Multimedia is becoming a key feature in education with the new DIDA and GCE in applied ICT being e-portfolio based. Adobe studio is an industry-standard software that is becoming very popular in schools and colleges for building e-portfolios. This resource will be very useful for anyone teaching e-portfolio based subjects including DIDA and GCE. The tutorials are set in video format so your learners can watch and practice the basics of creating a web site/portfolio using Adobe. This resource covers the essentials of Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks.
Scheme of Work
To complete these tutorials you will need Adobe Studio. Please note that these tutorials have been created using Adobe 8. If you are using an older version there may be slight differences.
Lesson 1 - Defining a file location and tables
Aim
To define a folder location and insert tables using Adobe Dreamweaver.
Objectives
In this session the learners will:-
Understand the basics of defining a folder location.

Aim
To create buttons using Adobe Fireworks and insert the new buttons into Adobe Dreamweaver.

Create their own buttons and insert them into their portfolio.

Lesson 3 - Hyperlinks and Batch processing
Aim
To create hyperlinks between pages and resize several images at the same time
Objectives
In this session the learners will:-
Understand what batch processing is.
Hyperlink their pages together.
Resize all of their images at the same time.

Lesson 4 - Frames and Bouncing ball
Aim
To create a website using frames and make a ball bounce using Flash.

Aim
To create a form using Adobe Dreamweaver.
