I started teaching in 1981. Following a period teaching Design and Technology and Art and Design I moved into full time ICT in 1998 at Prospect College in Reading.

Since 1993 I have done a lot of work with other schools both in the Secondary and Primary sectors providing teacher training and network support. I have acted as regional coordinator for two national teacher-training schemes for ICT for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

In 2004 I moved back to the Midlands and accepted a position as Director of ICT at Princethorpe College in Warwickshire. I have now been Head of ICT in three schools of different characters and sizes in both the state and independent sectors.
