Level 4

You describe how the Holocaust has been represented and interpreted in different ways

Level 5

You describe and understand that the Holocaust has been represented and interpreted in different ways. You also suggest possible reasons for why the events are represented in different ways.

Level 6

You describe the different interpretations AND begin to analyse why there are different historical interpretations of the Holocaust. Using your own knowledge and understanding, you evaluate the websites and use them critically to reach a judgement on how the Holocaust has been remembered overall. You can then use this to produce your own website which is supported with historical evidence.

You can create a three-page hyperlinked website which contains some relevant information about the topic.

You create an eye-catching website / presentation, containing text and images which are appropriate to the topic. Your work is aimed at a particular audience and is designed to present the content in an appropriate way.

Level 6

Your website / presentation shows a clear sense of audience and purpose. It links to external websites and is well designed and constructed. You are able to use feedback from others to help you improve your work and you can justify your choice of content and design. You can evaluate the researched websites and compare them to your own.

Level 7

Your website / presentation is complex in its content and structure, linking internally and to external websites. There is a clarity of purpose and target audience which takes into account feedback from users. You are able to comment on how the availability of information and the presentation of different viewpoints can effect upon those who read it.
