Step 1: Form a group of three

Form a group of three people. Each of you will investigate one of the aspects of learning below.

Each link below leads to a description of what is involved in each of the learning styles so that you can get an outline of what each is about before you choose.

Step 2: Have a group discussion

(a) In this discussion you must decide several things....

(b) Who will investigate each of the learning topics in Step 1 above.

(c) Decide how your group will present its findings. You must choose a method from:

    • Booklet
    • Power Point slide show
    • Website
    • Poster
  • Note: despite the method each will still have to make a presentation/speech to the class to explain their findings.

(d) Write a project brief for your teacher in MS WORD. In it you must include:

    • Who the group members are.
    • Which topic each member will take for research.
    • How your group will present its findings (you can change this later after your research but let your teacher know).
    • Get all your members to sign it.

Step 4: Discussion your findings with your group

In this discussion you must decide/discuss several thing...

(a) Each member must explain the learning method, they have investigated, to the others. The others need to ask questions to ensure that the topic has been researched correctly and that they all know how to answer any of the questions.

(b) Decide out who is going to introduce the classroom presentation.

(c) Decide what order the information that you have all collected will be presented. (All group members will present their own findings).

(d) Confirm with each other how the information is going to be presented - poster/website/Power Point slide show/booklet (click the links for what must be included in each method).

(e) Decide who is going to construct which parts of the poster/website/Power Point slide show/booklet.

(f) Create your document.

Step 5: Classroom presentation

Your teacher will organise how and when you will give you presentation to the class.
