Desktop publishing is the first of four tasks that students will write up as part of their GCSE course. Each task is worth 15% of the final coursework mark [coursework accounting for 60% of the total GCSE mark]. Students are encouraged to do well with coursework, thereby avoiding undue pressure in the final examination.

The write up of each task follows a 'System Lifecycle' and should be split into Identifying, Analysing, Designing, Implementing and Evaluating. This project is split into the same sections, giving you guidance as to how your own coursework write up should be structured and reminders for safe storage of work.
