Blockbusters – Rules

Split the class into two teams.
Each team needs a spokesperson.
From experience, if you allow one team to take control of the board, the game will be over in a matter of minutes and the other team may not even get a turn. I have found that the best way to play it is one question each.

The first team picks a letter from the blockbusters grid.
Read out the accompanying question to that letter.
The team confer and the spokesperson gives the answer. If they get it wrong, the other team have a go.
If both teams get it wrong, ask another question beginning with the same letter, until that letter is ‘won’.
Continue until one team has a line either vertically or horizontally.
