Mitsuko
Tashimata is a 21 year old Japanese woman who has recently finished
college and deciding what she should next … whether to stay
in her home area of Hokkaido [N Japan]
or move elsewhere to use her education.
Students discuss her dilemma using known data,
photographs and option cards to trigger ideas.
As part of a thinking skills exercise, the trigger
cards are sorted into reasons for Mitsuko staying or moving. Then
in small groups, students focus their thinking using Edward de Bono's
Thinking Hats technique ...
